The first test measures TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) — the total concentration of dissolved minerals, salts and metals in your water, measured in parts per million (ppm). The lower the number, the purer the water. Typical Irish tap water reads around 200–500+ ppm, pure reverse-osmosis water drops to roughly 5–20 ppm, and our remineralised RO water sits at about 30–80 ppm — pure water with healthy minerals added back for better taste and balance.
Your expert then runs a multi-parameter litmus strip test, measuring pH, water hardness, cyanuric acid, total chlorine, free chlorine, free bromine, nitrate, nitrite, iron, chromium, lead, copper, mercury, fluoride, carbonate root and total alkalinity — giving you a complete, transparent picture of exactly what's in your water before and after.
